A swimming pool is 65.25 feet long and 40.5 feet wide. How much longer is the pool than it is wide

As is feet is 24,75 longer.

As a ratio the pool is x 1.6 times longer than the width of the pool!

To find out the ratio you divide l / w

65.25/40.5=1.61 times longer
