How do I find domain and the range on a graph ?

Domain is the possible values of inputs range is the possible values of outputs. For the function y = 1/x, for instance, the domain is (-∞,0)∪(0,∞) since 1/0 is undefined, and the range is (-∞,0)∪(0,∞).
