In any mathematic expression, like terms will be the terms with the same exponents and variables. For example, in the expression 2x^2 + 3x^2 + 6x , 2x^2 and 3x^2 would be like terms. This is because they have the same variable(x) and the same exponent(2). Hope this helps.
