so
-8y=13-7x (by subtracting 7x from both sides)
now you still want y by itself so you divide by -8
leaving you with
y=-13/8 + 7/8

First we have to subtract 7x in both sides,

Now we have to multiply '-' sign in both sides,

Now, we have to divide right hand side by 8,

Rearranging we get,
