from the Newton's equation of motion, we have

on substituting the values, we have

16.67 = 0 + a × 30

or

a = 0.55 m/s²

v² - u² = 2as

where, s is the distance traveled

on substituting the values, we get

16.67² - 0² = 2 × 0.55 × s
