The equations to find the area of a rectangle are: multiply the length by the width A = lw

The equations to find the area of a square are: multiply the length by the width A = lw

The equations to find the area of a trapezoid are: multiply the sum of the upper base and lower base by the height  and then divide by 2. A =  [tex]\frac{a+b}{2}h[/tex]

The equations to find the area of a triangle are: multiply the base by the height, then multiply by 1/2. A = bh × 1/2
