Answer:

The fractions are not equivalent. If you cross multiply 65 x 2 = 130 and 4 x 13 = 52. 130 > 52. Set them as a proportion. [tex]\frac{65}{4} = \frac{13}{2}[/tex]

They are not equal.

For 65/4 you cannot divide it by 2 and then get 13/2. You would get 32.5/2.

32.5/2 is not equal to 13/2
