The battle of tours occurred on October 732 in France between the Kingdom of the Franks, and the Arabs and the Berbers, during the Islamic contests to conquer the world.
The battle ended by the victory of the Frankish empire by the withdrawal of the enemy forces. This stopped the Islamic extension, and preserved Christianity as the dominant European faith.
