Type I daibetes mellitus - The lack of production of Insulin

Pathology: The loss of beta cells in the Islet of Langerhaans of the pancreas, therefore no more Insulin can be secreted into the blood stream. Without insulin, blood glucose levels jump extremely fast as the body cannot translocate glucose across membranes fast enough
