To find the inverse (f^-1),
First step is to substitute y for f(x).
Second step, switch x and y.
Third step, resolve for y=

f(x)= -4x-6
y= -4x-6
x= -4y-6
Add 6 to both sides
x + 6 = -4y
Divide both sides by -4
- (x+6)/4
f(x)= -(x+6)/4
