Shirley is going to have the exterior of her home painted. Tim's painting charges $250 plus $14 per hour. Colorful paints charge $22 per hour. How many hours would the job need to take for the two companies to be equal?

your answer is 12. for one hour for tim's painting would be 264. 264 divided by 22 equals 12.
