Multiply each term in the left parentheses by each term in the right parentheses.

=(4x − 3)(2x2 − 7x + 1)

=(4x*2x2) + (4x*-7x) + (4x*1) + (-3*2x2) + (-3*-7x) + (-3*1)
multiply each set of parentheses

=8x3 - 28x2 + 4x - 6x2 + 21x-3
combine like terms

ANSWER:
=8x3 - 34x2 + 25x - 3

Hope this helps! :)
