How can we respect people's differences

This is certainly an open-ended question! But, working on the idea that every single person has their own unique genome and life experiences and perspectives, we are all obviously unique and different in important ways. It's presumptuous to assume our own different thing is better than someone else's. We have to approach from an attitude of understanding and equality to respect differences... That's the best I've got...
